CIF/WHS Sports Updates

UPDATE:  On 1/19/2021 the CIF announced that all Season 1 (Fall) Southern Section Championships have been canceled.  WHS Season 1 sports may still be able to compete in regular season games if the Regional Stay at Home Order for Southern California is lifted and if the sport is allowed under Ventura County’s tier classification.  The

The 2020-21 school year has seen unprecedented challenges and changes in all aspects of life at Westlake High School….Athletics included.  Given the current COVID guidelines and the fact that sports teams are limited in the type of activities in which they may engage, the start of the CIF sports seasons have unfortunately been pushed back.

Sommers, Johnson named Athletes of the Month for February
